Anders was originally born in Madison and raised DeForest. However, she is currently living with her family in Los Angeles. In 1993 she completed her graduation from DeForest Area High school in DeForest Wisconsin. Anders received her bachelor of fine Arts degree from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. In 2001, she graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts at Rutgers University. Anders and Matt LeBlanc dated from 2006 until 2015. The pair met while filming for the now-cancelled sitcom Joey.
